ICL Business School announces their new Diploma in Business Level 6 with direct Articulations to AUT and over 20 Universities in Australia and the UK.
ICL has taught the New Zealand Diploma in Business (NZDipBus) for over five years, and has recently been approved by NCC Education to deliver the International Advanced Diploma in Business (IADB). The ICL Diploma in Business Level 6 consists of 12 papers from the NZDipBus and four papers of the IADB, and leads into the third year of business degrees in a range of over 20 UK universities.
On successful completion of the ICL Diploma in Business students will be eligible for three awards:
International Advanced Diploma in Business from NCC Education
ICL Diploma in Business Level 6 from ICL Business School
New Zealand Diploma in Business Level 6 from the New Zealand Qualifications Authority

Pathways to AUT University
ICL Business School is the only private school in NZ with pathways to AUT that offer credit transfer. Students can expect a year’s credit transfer, or 120 points. Students who do particularly well can achieve 150 credit points, which will enable them to complete the Bachelor of Business at AUT in 1.5 years

1 Cross credits will be available for the following NZDB papers:

• 530 Organisation and Management
• 560 Business Communication
• 641 Fundamentals of Marketing
• 430 Quantitative Business Methods
• 632 Operations Management
• 633 Human Resource Management
• 648 Marketing Planning & Control
• 510 Introduction to Commercial Law OR 550 Business Computing
• 5XX Another level 5 paper
• 6XX Another level 6 paper
2 Students who have successfully passed these can be exempted completely from the IDB and from the following modules on the IADB:
• Human Resource Management
• Quantitative Methods
• Operations Management
• Marketing Management
3 NZDB graduates will then need to study the following 4 modules on the IADB:
• Cross Cultural Awareness
• Managerial Economics
• Applications of Financial Control
• Consumer Behaviour.
Timeline
The New Zealand Diploma in Business: 12 papers: four trimesters
The International Advanced Diploma in Business: four papers: one trimester
Total duration: two academic years or 20 months.
ICL delivers the four IADB papers where:
• Each paper has a minimum of 60 hours contact time through lectures, tutorials and practical sessions.
• Each paper has a minimum of 90 hours of independent study
• Each paper carries a minimum of 15 credits
